Texturing

The software that I have chosen for texturing of my character is Substance Painter (Adobe, 2020)

Here is how I textured my shaman:

I opened a new project in Substance Painter (2020) and I chose a resolution of 2048px. I imported all my Normal Maps, Ambient Occlusion Maps and Colour ID Maps. Then in each Texture Set, I added all proper maps.

After that, I could search for the best materials for the texture sets. For Cloth1 I chose Fabric Soft Denim, for Cloth 2 Fabric Canvas Creased, for Cloth 3 Leather Weathered, for body Skin Face, for bones, simply bone material, for stripes a mix of bronze, steel and Fabric Synthetic, for headdress leather, fabric linen and Damaged Cobalt. For shoes, I decided to use leather. The only thing that is left is the eyes. I added to the steel material, so they are shinier, but I still needed irises and pupils.

So I opened Photoshop (Adobe, 2020) and I painted them myself. When I was finished, I added them to Substance Painter (2020) as a fill layer.

The materials that I have chosen did not have the same colours that I needed, so I adjusted them to resemble my concept art.

Here are my renders with comparison to the concept art:

I think that resemblance is very clear.
